• Walking in Iceland is a photographic series by Nichol Marsch that explores identity, self-reflection and healing through abstraction. Developed during an artist residency in Iceland, the series is built from images captured while walking, navigating daily routines, and observing the landscape. Marsch employs her established method of layering 10 to 100 photos into singular, non-representational forms that distill collective experience into abstract compositions.
